Unbreakable

The original eight contestants, usually called the Unbreakables, are:

  • Angus Morison - Ski cross racer from Leshmahagow.
  • Barnaby Race - Musician & long distance runner from Canterbury.
  • Carla Terry - Personal trainer from Surrey.
  • David Bain - Ex-professional boxer from Wolverhampton.
  • Frazer Herald - Iron-man from Liverpool.
  • Heather Lyons - Bouncer and martial arts champion from Cardiff.
  • Matt Taylor - Gym instructor and rugby player from Gloucestershire
  • Nathan Roberts - Fitness fanatic and body builder from Folkestone.

So far they’ve been to…

  • Episode 1: The jungle of Guyana, where they were bit by bullet ants, had to chop down a palm tree for lunch, crack piranha skulls, transport an anaconda and traverse piranha infested waters, UNDER their canoe.
  • Episode 2: Norway, where they joined the school of winter warfare for some cold endurance training. They trek on skis with heavy backpacks, get blasted with TNT, have to dig their own snowholes and sleep in them - no sleeping bags. They plunge into a hole in the ice, skis first, and have to stay as long as they can last in a tent filled with gas.
  • Episode 3: Navy Defence diving school. They face a wide range of water based challenges, from diving from four stories height, skating across treacherous mud and plugging holes in a sinking warship under fire. They must also escape a simulated helicopter crash into water. They also face an obstacle course carrying a barrell.
